Teradactyl LLC. is a 100% U.S. owned and operated small business software engineering company. We develop state of the art enterprise network backup system software for large distributed processing environments. Teradactyl engages in sub-contracting and teaming relationships when the focus and scope of the requirements are predominately backup and disaster recovery of information systems data for central systems and infrastructure. Teradactyl is eligible to compete on these projects as a total small business set aside. Teradactyl will work in the U.S., Canada, the European Union, and select other countries as sub-contractor or teaming partner. For U.S.contraacts, we use U.S. citizens and primarily U.S. vendors for our government channel sources of supply and sub-contract personnel. For projects abroad, we use regional IT personnel and vendors to the extend possible. Teradactyl is highly suited for infrastructure projects under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 at both Federal and State levels provided the scope of the RFP or RFQ lies within our primary lines of business.

Teradactyl has the ability to create multiple classes and storage pools to permit the processing of divergent data sets, e.g. administrative versus research data, with unique level backup strategies and data retention policies. Data may be separated for compliance or security requirements yet be processed on the same backup server(s) using partitioned storage or physically independent storage sub-systems. Seemless integration between disk and tape technologies permits backup volumes to be stored on disk, tape, or both regardless of their class or storage pool. With the exception of our Partial Cumulative Incrmental Backup Volumes, which must be maintained on disk for intelligent compression processing, all other data may be replicated or moved to tape. Tape storage subsystems can automatically replicate cartridges for off-site storage at any backup level. All synthetic backup volumes can be regenerated from other data in the system in the event of media failure. Backup servers can be quickly and completely restored from tape in the event of disk sub-system failure. In the unusual situation of massive data center loss or corruption, TiBS servers can replicate providing multiple backup servers each performing parallel restore operations.
