TiBS
is designed to grow with your site as your backup requirements
change. You only purchase functionality, as you need it.
To determine the cost for your location please request
a quote from us. The quote is constructed for TiBS based
on the following elements.

Initial
License Charges (ILC) are based on:
|
|
Teradactyl
has a pricing model that uniquely benefits large sites in terms
of price and ease of license administration. TiBS is licensed by
operating and network file system. An initial license charge (ILC)
for each operating or network file system purchased, permits the
customer to backup an unlimited number of client machines within
that operating or network file system. We do NOT have any per seat
charges for TiBS. We do not require our customers to track or report
the number of machines currently being backed up by TiBS. If multiple
TiBS servers are required, the ILCs purchased may be deployed on
multiple TiBS servers within a licensed site at NO additional charge.

| Operating
System Licenses: Allows an unlimited number of clients per operating
systems per site, including file servers, running a supported
operating system to backup to licensed backup servers. |
| Network
File System License:Similar to an Operating System License, but
allows unlimited backup of data from network file systems such as
NFS or AFS. |
|
Enterprise
Licensing: Allows access to all
operating and network file systems currently supported. Teradactyl
has three levels of TiBS site licenses for large organizations.
Teradactyl has already eliminated per seat charges. This model can
eliminate operating and network file system charges for individual
departments, a location such as a Univesity campus, and even entire
institutions as a system wide level. Teradactyl options for Enterprise
Site Licenses are:

Department
Site License
|
This
option provides a single department with access to all Teradactyl
supported operating and network file systems for one fixed price.
This program is available for ALL TiBS Versions.

|
Organizational
Site License
|
This
option provides a single location (e.g. a main college campus) with
access to all Teradactyl supported operating and network file systems
for one fixed price. This program is available for the Full Version
ONLY.
|
|
Organizational
System License
|
This
option provides a single institution (e.g. a state university with
multiple campus locations) with access to all Teradactyl supported
operating and network file systems for one fixed price. This program
is available for the Full Version ONLY.

TiBS
Backup Server Processing Packs:
|
| To
support an increasing number of computer systems or to reduce the
backup window (time it takes to complete a nightly backup), TiBS uses
process packs. A process allows one backup job to run on any of a
site's backup servers. Purchasing additional processing licenses allows
more backups to run in parallel at any given time. With TiBS, you
can generally add more processing packs to increase data processing
capacity and/or reduce backup windows. This pricing architecture gives
our clients the ability to scale their backup system to meet future
needs without having to pay upfront charges for utility not currently
required. Processing packs are not operating or network file system
specific. Your change from one flavor of UNIX to another, for instance,
will not require you to buy new processes or pay an upgrade fee for
the processes you currently own. Processes may be transferred between
TiBS backup servers. The only restrictions with your processes are;
that they must remain within the department or entity that purchased
them and they must be applied to the same TiBS Edition purchased (Full,
Lite, or Small
Business). |

A
minimum of two processes are required for a TiBS Backup Server.

Additional
Software Options:
|
| Full
Version Upgrade: Allows customers who currently use TiBS Lite
or TiBS Small Business Edition to upgrade to the full version of TiBS.
100% of your TiBS software purchase price is applied to your upgrade.
(Excludes 3rd party hardware and software products as well as all
service and maintenance fees.) |
| Lite
Version Upgrade: Allows customers who currently use TiBS Small
Business Edition to upgrade to the Lite version of TiBS. 100% of your
TiBS software purchase price is applied to your upgrade. (Excludes
3rd party hardware and software products as well as all service and
maintenance fees.) |

Automated
Tape Library Interface: This module permits TiBS to work
with most Fibre or SCSI-2 compliant tape libraries with bar-code
support. The TiBS Automated Tape Library Interface (ATLI) is licensed
per TiBS Backup Server with NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES
for the number of tape drives or tape slots within the robotic libraries
connected to a TiBS backup server. The charge is the same regardless
of tape library manufacturer for all TiBS supported models. The
cost is dependent upon the version of TiBS purchased. 100% of your
software purchase price for the module is applied to your future
upgrades. Limit of one tape library per backup server for Small
Business Edition, two tape libraries per backup server for TiBS
Lite, and no licensing restriction for tape libraries per server
for TiBS Full Version.
With
any TiBS version, we have NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES for adding robotic
library tape drives or additional robotic library tape slots.

| Disk
Library Interface: This
module permits TiBS to store even more data in near-line storage on
the TiBS Backup Servers.
Full and True incremental changes (changes since the last backup)
are maintained for configurable periods of time. This module can operate
alone but was designed to work in conjunction with robotic
tape libraries for true disaster recovery and off site storage
capabilities. The TiBS Disk Library Interface (DLI) is licensed per
TiBS Backup Server with NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES for the
storage capacity of the unit. This module is now available for ALL
Versions of TiBS |
| Open
Transaction Manager:
Allows backup of open files on Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 platforms.
The Open Transaction Manager module is licensed per TiBS Backup Server
with an unlimited number of Windows clients. Backup even hundreds
of Windows systems with a single, affordable, manageable license.

| Annual
Maintenance: Choose the annual
software maintenance program that best fits your needs. A variety
of programs are available. All annual maintenance plans for the True
incremental Backup System are priced as a fixed percentage of the
software purchase price. If you take advantage of any of our special
discounts, the savings will also benefit you in subsequent years by
virtue of your lower annual support charges. The percentage used to
determine your annual support chages varies depending upon the level
of support plan desired. |

organization must be an end-user purchaser, and not a reseller,
to be eligible for enterprise license programs. Enterprise licenses
do not include process packs or other modules which must be purchased
separately but may have quantity discounts. All pricing is subject
to change. Teradactyl LLC. reserves the right to make adjustments
to pricing, products and service offerings for reasons including,
but not limited to, changing market conditions, product discontinuation,
product unavailability, manufacturer price changes and errors in
advertisements. Teradactyl is not responsible for printing errors.
All orders are subject to product and/or service availability. Therefore,
Teradactyl LLC. cannot guarantee that it will be able to fulfill
Customer’s orders. All decisions by Teradactyl are final.
Orders;
Payment Terms; Interest; Taxes
Orders are not binding upon Teradactyl LLC. until accepted by Teradactyl
LLC. Terms of payment are within Teradactyl LLC. sole discretion.
Invoices are due and payable within the time period specified on
the invoice, measured from the date of invoice. Teradactyl LLC.
may invoice Customer separately for partial shipments. Customer
agrees to pay interest on all past-due sums at the lower of one
and one-half percent (1 1/2%) per month or at the highest rate allowed
by law. Customer is responsible for, and will indemnify and hold
Teradactyl LLC. harmless from, any applicable sales, use, transaction,
excise or similar taxes (but not taxes imposed or measured by Teradactyl's
net income), and from any federal, state or local fees or charges
(including, but not limited to, environmental or similar fees),
imposed on, in respect of, or otherwise associated with the order.
Customer must claim any exemption from such taxes, fees or charges
and must provide Teradactyl LLC. with the necessary supporting documentation
at the time of purchase. Any sales, use or other applicable tax
or fees or assessments is based on the location to which the order
is shipped. In the event of a payment default, Customer will be
responsible for all of Teradactyl’s costs of collection, including
court costs, filing fees and attorney’s fees.
All
Teradactyl Software requires a valid and properly executed Teradactyl
Software License Agreement to complete the transaction. All Teradactyl
Software Maintenance Plans require a valid and properly executed
Teradactyl Software Maintenance Agreement to complete the transaction.
All Teradactyl OnSite Services require a valid and properly executed
Teradactyl OnSite Service Agreement to complete the transaction.
All Teradactyl Custom Engineering Services require a valid and properly
executed Teradactyl Custom Engineering Services Agreement to complete
the transaction.
Export
Sales
The availability of Teradactyl products and services outside of
the United States of America are not guaranteed by Teradactyl. If
this transaction involves an export under the Export Administration
Regulations, the commodities, technology and/or software sold or
distributed under these terms and conditions of sale exported from
the United States by Teradactyl LLC. were exported in accordance
with the Export Administration Regulations. The commodities, technology
and/or software sold or distributed under these terms and conditions
of sale may not be exported or re-exported to Cuba, Iran, Iraq,
Libya, Sudan, North Korea or Syria or to entities and persons that
are ineligible under United States law to receive United States
commodities, technology and/or software. In addition, manufacturers'
warranties for exported products may vary or may be null and void
for products exported outside the United States. These commodities,
technology, or software are to be exported from the United States
in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations. True incremental
