Metal Evaporated (AME) SAIT-1 media is rated for 500GB native
capacity. The CSM series PetaSite is highly scalable and modular
with a compact data center friendly 19" rack form factor
that easily expands from 60 up to 2,988 tape slots.
The
CSM series PetaSite was developed with system reliability, performance
and serviceability in mind, ideal for Archive, Backup and Recovery
applications. Key PetaSite tape library advantages include durable
high usage rated SAIT media, high availability robotics with integrated
remote management, alert messaging and reporting.

Teradactyl
licenses the True incremental Backup System by operating and network
file system to eliminate per seat charges. Parallel processing of
backup clients permit the product to scale in capacity as the data
sizes escalate. Robotic tape libraries are licensed to individual
TiBS backup servers thus eliminating all charges for the number
of drives, slots, or storage capacity. Sony produces the PetaSite
CSM-200, CSM-100 and CSM-60 products. The companies mutually certify
that these products have been tested for interoperability and will
dependably work together and scale with your increasing enterprise
storage requirements. |

has tested the True incremental Backup System Version 2.0 with the
PetaSite Robotic Tape Library and both corporations certified on
June 11, 2004 that the two product lines passed interoperability
testing. The PetaSite and the True incremental Backup System are
currently deployed and supported in production environments. All
native capacity figures are provided by Sony and are not confirmed
nor guaranteed by Teradactyl. Newer Versions of the True incremental
Backup System not listed are also supported. |
